ahhhh,

i hear so much anxiety, anger from the world, from clients, from colleagues, even at moments from within me

it's natural, we're all trying to make sense of this new context, most of us finally waking in the midst of a lucid dream, at moments a nightmare

anxiety is rampant

What can we do about Anxiety

I have a few pointers I'd love to share,

  1. when you feel anxious, just take a moment and breathe, the vagal tone will respond instantaneously, relaxing you, shifting your neurophysiology so you can think clearly, so you can feel more in control for a moment

  2. once you can think, please please step back and ask yourself, 'what am i not trusting', mistrust of some area of your life and experience is at the root of all anxiety, there is something you are not trusting, nab it, expose it, shine a light on it, it will lose it's power — if you must, go bold, start trusting the universe, it's not blind faith, you've got a ton of data to support this, life is always presenting you evidence that it's upholding your wellbeing, every moment you breathe in and out, your heart keeps beating, your blood flowing, right?

  3. anxiety is essentially temporal dislocation, meaning you are either bathing in the past or in the future, when anxious you are not in the now, the present is incapable of holding anxiety, check in how much time you are spending in the past, and worrying about the future, become aware of all the time travel you do, moment to moment, keep coming back to the now, and ideally to the deep now, create life from there, one moment at a time, one step in front of the other – please remember, the past and the future is benign data

  4. once you see the trust and the temporal piece, then you want to shift, move out of the anxiety, how do you change your state - you can take the behavioral approach (you do something) the cognitive approach (you shift your perspective), the flow approach (you go with only what feels effortless), the love approach (you go with what lets you feel love, being in love, you choose to be 'lived by love') you can take on all 4 strategies at once, or choose one at a time and see which stick most, for me the love-based one is what sticks, the rest drop off for me, only love cures me of anxiety

  5. all this can ward off anxiety, as long as you step out of the victim-based matrix and you become relentlessly devoted to design-thinking, creating reality actively — this may feel delusional at first, but we are dropping all illusion right?

  6. and look, at the root of all anxiety is a mixed bag of feelings — sadness, grief, anger — all related to dualist thinking, a tragic dislocation from our true nature, interconnectedness, unity consciousness, this is the straight up root cause of anxiety

  7. anxiety can be exacerbated by neurophysiology and overall imbalance in our metabolism, from physical unwellness, so loves, do the obvious — eat a clean healthy diet, water, move move move, and be in touch with your bliss, if needed take nutrients that support it https://www.blissdesigned.com/magazine2020//bliss-nutrients
